These personal explorations examine how identity is performed within intimate group dynamics, as well as the shifting nature of our sense of self within relationships.
A significant part of her practice involves long-term projects inspired by her unconventional upbringing, her family, and the elusive concept of ‘home.’
The Bathroom
A bathroom is often seen as a quasi-sacred space—a place of solitude and vulnerability. But in a family of ten with only two bathrooms, that sacred space becomes a high-traffic zone where privacy is a rare commodity.
‘The Bathroom’ documents the artist’s family over the years in this paradoxical setting—both intimate and communal—where the bathroom transforms into a stage where intimate rituals and bizarre occurrences collide.

Il bagno è spesso visto come uno spazio quasi sacro — un luogo di solitudine e vulnerabilità. Ma in una famiglia di dieci persone con solo due bagni, quello spazio sacro diventa una zona ad “alto traffico”, dove la privacy è una merce rara. The Bathroom documenta la famiglia dell’autrice nel corso degli anni in questo contesto paradossale — al tempo stesso intimo e collettivo — in cui il bagno si trasforma in un palcoscenico dove si incontrano rituali intimi e accadimenti bizzarri.
